Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Codex support interactive Engager connections. OpenClaw needs manual setup and its full workflows are untested; Hermes Agent is an untested integration route. Direct ChatGPT connection is currently unsupported. DeepSeek is a model provider: it needs a compatible agent host, and that combination remains untested. Local background AI work currently supports Claude only.
Engager provides a local process connection (stdio) and Streamable HTTP with bearer-token authentication. Its installer has Claude Code and Codex targets; a client’s support for SKILL.md files does not mean Engager installs or verifies its workflows there.
Claude Code’s skill setup does not establish Desktop or hosted Claude skill support. In Codex, the live checks covered listing skills and retrieving a workflow file, not a fresh installation or a complete workflow. OpenClaw and Hermes have no dedicated Engager installer. Hosted ChatGPT cannot directly reach the local process or localhost server; its documented OAuth, no-auth and mixed-auth options do not match Engager’s current required bearer token.
Connection and skill retrieval are narrower checks than completing a workflow. These compatibility notes do not certify automatic publishing or recovery across clients. Compatibility checked September 8, 2026. Logos belong to Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenClaw and Nous Research; their display identifies the supported clients and does not imply endorsement.
Use the same Engager core in your agent, on your Mac, or in our cloud.
All plans use the same core, safety controls, and data model. Paid plans are monthly with no trial. AI subscriptions and LinkedIn account risk remain the owner’s responsibility.
